This a dispensing pharmacy where the pharmaceutical products are prepared, sorted and labeled based on a specific prescription. The whole process is carried out by a team of technicians overseen by pharmacists. It is an office intertwined with a production line. High on the walls, big screens keep track on the status of each prescription. The space has to be semi-enclosed, part of the work requires privacy while the overall flow of the process has to be seamless. Large glass partitions offer a visual connection between spaces while restricting physical access to sensitive areas. The front desk is finished in wood paneling and soft fabric to gives a soothing welcome to clients. While no products are visible on shelves, clients can get a glimpse of the pharmacy activity through vertical glass slits opening towards the packaging area. Directly accessible from the front desk are two rooms where client and pharmacist can meet in privacy.
